It would be beneficial to provide more than one rating for some routes – such as for each pitch (or just for “critical” pitches) and for variations. Please consider this both in the route description and in the link for users to provide their opinion on the rating.
As an example, consider Country Club Crack where the crux is a bouldery face move that is often aided/French freed, but many climbers are more focused on the upper fat-finger crack above the roof which is technically easier. Other situations may be a climb with a 5.11 pitch and a 5.9 R pitch, and variations of a pitch.
Sure, the "comments" section can be used to suss out the situation, but more specificity in the rating would be more direct and helpful to users.
