Looking for a trad partner this coming long weekend, mostly moderate multipitch climbs - 5.6, 5.7, 5.8 - can climb harder, but new to the area and just looking to get out and put my hands on the rock (coming from VT, so I've been in ice mode for a couple months).

Will have full gear with me, newbie's welcome.

FYI, its looking like rain on the 12th and 13th, with little time to dry since the last storm (Monday)...probably going to be a pretty wet weekend here, despite the sunny skies.

Thanks for the heads up John - I had seen the forecast, hoped it would dry out.
Any area that dry's out a little faster? Not against clipping bolts.

Calico dries out faster, but in the winter, depending on precip, I wouldn't climb before Sunday or Monday at the earliest.

There's a good bit of local limestone to be had- both in town and not that far away.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
