Alf's Restaurant in Alta, Utah is a mid-mountain cafeteria-style restaurant & day lodge located at the base of the Sugarloaf & Supreme chairlifts. Alf's is offering employment, housing, and ski benefits. Come live and work mid-mountain in the legendary Little Cottonwood Canyon! Alf's Restaurant is currently hiring for the 2017-2018 ski season. Employment begins in late November and continues through the middle to end of April. We will have positions available for full time live-in and part time live-out cafeteria help. Full time employees are required to live on the mountain.

Full time live-in: The full time live-in positions are great for people who want to do a lot of skiing this winter. These jobs are 5 days per week and the hours vary, but there is ski time every day. The housing is dorm style and is located near the base of the Sugarloaf and new this year, Supreme Lifts halfway up the mountain. The lifts are less than fifty yards from the door! Part time live-out: The part time position is 14 hours per week. These positions are 2 days a week. The hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The work includes, but is not limited to food prep, deli work, bussing tables, snow removal, etc. Ski privileges are included. Housing is not available for these positions. Giving this the Bumpity Bump as the ski season is coming and if you know anyone, or are someone looking for a fun and exciting place to spend time skiing the best snow on earth, this could be the place! Happy climbing, and don't worry, ski season isn't coming THAT quick!

you ought to mention the climbing in  lower LCC during the winter can be pretty damn good as well, if you like sunny winter granite that is.

Thanks for mentioning it, as yes, it is quite good! We even have a woody in the garage with plenty of extra holds and a hang board!
