NC Climbing Access Question (Due to Fire)

Hi all,

I'm heading down to NC next week to hopefully do some climbing, mountain biking, etc. I've never climbed in NC and I'm having a hard time telling the state of things with the current forest fires.

Based on this thread I gather that Rumbling Bald is out of the question.

I'm mostly interested in the major climbing areas (Looking Glass, Linville Gorge, Laurel Knob) but any beta would be greatly appreciated.

Everything you listed is good to go, especially with this weeks upcoming rain. Rumbly will probably be out for a while...hard to say.

Stop by Sycamore Cycles in Brevard for ride sheets. Black mountain in pisgah and Ridgeline in DuPont are must do's w totally different character

Go with Sycamore not the Hub in Brevard

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
