I drove past and briefly looked as much as I could without running off the road. The thing is it took me a week to realize that it was gone and where I put it down was right by the road that thousands of people drive on. I had strapped the small backpack onto the top of my big one and arriving at the car I had to take it off to get out the keys. Maybe it rolled underneath or I just didn't look back. You make mistakes when you get that tired.
Maybe I can call some gear shops and see if anyone turned it in.
The place where I parked I had just pulled of the road parallel to the road and when I got in the car I was right next to the road. I heard a clunk when I drove away but I thought it was a stick you know.
Shoot I was so tired from being on a dangerous mountain all day I was delirious. Maybe someone did turn it in because the gear was worn not new and nice. You gave me the idea, Ill try and call the gear shops. Thanks.
