Check out Bradley Falls on Mountain Project - mountainproject.com/v/10732…

Has anyone been here recently? I'm a new climber in the area and looking for quick after work spots. Any info would be most welcome.

In the new Rumbling Bald guidebook, there's a little section on Bradley Falls. It looks pretty slimy but perhaps worthwhile for a quick half day or after work burn. You scramble to the top of the ledges, then use some type of fixed line to get down. It is supposed to be confusing and gross. But I guess you could set up topropes. There are some bolted climbs. In all maybe 10 or less worthy routes overall, but likely a bunch of messing around, bouldering here and there, whatever like that. (again slimy and shady and cold type setting).

Sounds like a winner! Or, maybe camouflage to keep a tasty hidden gem hidden? =)

I picked up the Rumbling Bald guidebook a couple weeks ago and that's what sparked my interest. Since I'm close, it may be worth a quick hike to check it out. I've been that way a couple times before, even scrambled down the fixed line, but that was in search of trout and hammock time before I fancied myself a climber.

I took my kids hiking there a few weeks ago and it rekindled memories of a few visits there in the late 80s? when some of the first routes were put up. The place needs some cleaning but is ok, for what it is. There is better climbing nearby.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
