Hey! Hoping this may be a good place. I'm currently looking for a trainer that can help me push grades. As long as I've been climbing I don't really have the most reliable partners.. and having a difficult time getting into actual training. I work from home, so I have all the time in the world. Hit me up! Let's chat.

Might be able to help, depending on what you are looking for in terms of training. I work as the head routesetter for the climbing gym in Vail and coach the competition team, and have about 10 years of coaching experience. PM me more details if you are interested.

Most climbing gyms, Movement for sure, can refer you to several coaches in your area.

Just FWIW, plan on checking your ego at the door when you start with a coach. It's sometimes hard to do.

Another vote for Justen Sjong. I haven't used him for physical training, but I thought the session I had with him on movement skills, breathing, etc was well worth the money.

+1 for Justen

I don't actually use him as a climbing coach, but I've known him for a good number of years, and have watched him coach plenty of climbers.

Having reliable and like minded partners is going to go a long way in helping you achieve your goals.

Go to the gym and boulder and meet some folks, work some problems together. This will help a lot.

Climb outside a lot.
