Hey there. I newly moved to Eugene for the fall and I am looking for some local climbing partners! I work just 3 nights a week so that gives me plenty of free time to get out and climb on my days off. I haven't had a chance to explore climbing locally around Eugene yet (I've only lived here 2 weeks) so I'd love to find the local crags on non rainy days. I also have no problem driving us to places like Trout Creek, Smith Rock, etc for day trips! Also, maybe we can trade belays at the Crux gym, woohoo!

I am a pretty moderate level climber. I haven't really led much in awhile so I'd probably only be comfortable leading like 5.7s sport haha but I can follow up to 5.10As on both sport and trad. My favorite thing is following up big multipitches. So if you want to be my rope gun, I can surely be your belay bitch :P I have quite a few Smith classics I still need to do!

A little about me: I am a travel nurse from Maryland. Basically, I take 13 week contracts at different hospitals around the US that are understaffed. Since saying goodbye to Maryland last year, I have lived in Colorado, southern Arizona, and I was living in Bend this summer, before I came here to Eugene for my current contract. I will be here til at least mid December. I've been choosing most of my 13 week contracts based on proximity to climbing spots and that's been pretty rad.

I also enjoy going out for beer/cider/etc. after a hard day of climbing. So send me a message and let's get out there and climb!

Hey Alicia,

I am also from the East Coast and have just recently moved over to Eugene. I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia and moved out to Eugene for a year contract working as a GIS tech over at Fern Ridge Lake.

I just got into Eugene a few days ago and got a membership over at Crux, so I still don't really have any climbing partners yet. I am primarily a boulderer, but since the bouldering here is quite scarce, I am trying to improve my sport game and maybe trad as well. I can comfortably lead anything below 11c outside. Here is my FB if you would like to verify I am a legit person.

Hi Alicia and Devin,

I'll be in and around Eugene the week after thanksgiving (11/27 to 12/3) and would love to do a one or two day trip out to Smith, where I've never climbed before. I am comfortable leading sport up to 5'10b-ish, following on 5.11s. I've done a little bit of trad, and am eager to learn more, but don't have a rack. I do have a good rope, quickdraws, and all the basics for sport climbing/rappelling.

Hope to hear from you! Hit me up at 504 276 9891

Hey everyone!
I've recently moved to Eugene also. I have a membership at Crux, but I'm looking for more partners to head outdoor with. I mainly climb sport and trad outdoor, and do a lot of bouldering indoor. If any of you want to meet up at the columns, gym, or for a beer, please send me a text 7142611146.

Cheers!
Dan

Hey y'all. Just wanted to add my name as potential climbing partner for the gyms or local crags/smith. I climb moderates, mostly sport but some low grade trad as well.

Hit me up if you are heading out and looking for a partner - dry weather is coming soon!

Well, I took my travel nursing career from Eugene to Seattle so now I'm living it up in Seattle for the spring/summer. I'm definitely still down to get out climbing anywhere in the PNW though, definitely plan to head down to Smith sometimes :)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
