Just wondering if anyone knows much about the "scene" in a few places as it applies to a solo traveler looking for partners. I am heading towards Riglos from Santiago de Compostela on October 13th to meet a friend the evening of the 18th. I would like to do some climbing en route to meet my friend, so what I´m wondering is where it is easiest to find other folks to climb with. Areas I´m looking at are: Rodellar or anywhere in the Lleida area. I also don´t have a car, so basically I´m looking for a place with a hostel, crags within walking distance, and other dirtbags. I found that in El Chorro, but that´s not on the way.. Let me know if you have advice! Any tips would be greatly appreciated. And of course if you are in a similar boat, let´s climb together! Cheers, Aaron

I should also mention that my grade range is up to 6c+ for leading and I have a 70m rope and a 12 draws. On the 23rd of October I´ll be free again when I part ways with my friend. Probably going back to El Chorro if nothing else comes along.

I don't really have any advice about the places, but I'm driving to Spain next week and looking for people to climb with.
I'm quite flexible with the location, we could meet somewhere around Lleida or wherever you want.

(I wrote you an email some days ago, maybe you've missed it)

Hi there! I'm actually looking for a climbing partner between the 3-7 nov and don't really care about the spot, just want to go out for some climbing around spain!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
