Hello New Mexico climbers. My friend and I are climbing in the Sandia's at the end of September. We have a history of wandering for hours when finding routes using Mountain project approach beta. If anyone could provide some beta on getting to the Estrellita Area we would really appreciate it. We might also be willing to pay for some route finding assistance if it is a particularly difficult area to find. Is the approach beta on Mountain project for this area helpful or is it vague as we found much of it to be. Has anyone gone here and use the beta? Did you find it was accurate or did you have to wander around before really finding your routes?

It is probably the easiest approach in the sandias. You literally cannot get lost. Pick up a copy of Sandia Select at the gym if still concerned. You can easily combine estrellita with aviary ort and miss piggy for a fun, full day. Have fun!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
