A) I'm so excited!
B) I'm headed to Patagonia!
C) I'll be flying into Santiago, Chile--arriving on 6 Dec, then have no commitments but to be in El Calafate on 21 Dec...then from 2 Jan - 16 Jan, again time to climb! (Flying from Santiago on 17 Jan, so may spend a day or so in the city prior)
D) Looking for partners for both those periods...I lead pretty consistent .11 sport, trad 5.10ish+, and can follow higher grades. Alpine-wise, 5.9+, and don't mind long days (did the complete north ridge of Mt Stuart in one looooong push this summer)
E) Areas I'm thinking of are Torres del Paine (saw some more mellow alpine), El Chalten (mellow climbs, there aren't many, but a few), Frey, the big sport canyon north of Bariloche...and maybe Cochamo...not that hitting all of them is possible, but just in consideration. Any other ideas?
F) Let me know if you're interested and let's climb something silly!
G) See point A

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
