I saw the fall from the top of MF P1 and was one of many people who helped carry him down to the carriage road. Rangers did a great job getting him out fast, as per usual.
He fell just above the flake on P1, so probably more like 50+ feet. I think he ripped two pieces. Miraculously landed on very flat ground, seemingly mostly on his butt and was fully conscious.
Another friend who was there pointed out that there was an eerily similar accident on BP earlier this year. I always felt the gear was very good after the initial bit but this makes me wonder:
