Enock Glidden has Spina Bifida, is paralyzed from the waist down, and is working towards his dream of climbing El Cap. Enock first became interested in the outdoors when a friend of his, a climbing ranger, was killed in an accident on Mt. Rainier. Since then, he has foster his love for the outdoors and climbing through Paradox Sports. I have been following this story and I am creating a film which we will be completing this Fall during our return to Yosemite during which time Enock will try and climb El Cap. We have a Kickstarter campaign up here: kickstarter.com/projects/mu.... It includes a short film and description.
So much of climbing media these day is about elite climbers doing cutting edge climbing which means many of the other powerful experiences aren't being shared. We feel this narrative addresses these shortcomings by sharing an important narrative about the climbing community. Please check out the kickstarter and if you're unable to support it, consider sharing it with others! Thanks.
