Visiting SE Tennessee this week and looking to chase shade at T wall, Foster Falls and Obed. Can any locals chime in with some recommendations?
Thanks,
- Jake

Sunset Park stays in the shade till 2 or 3. Lots of good routes in all grades, bring TCU's/small stuff.

Probably best to avoid t wall. sunset is great for trad and you can find shade all day. most people climb at lily bluff or little clear creek at the obed in the summer. you can find shade at north and south clear as well - stephen king library comes to mind. cant speak for foster falls too much other than to say i've climbed there in the dead of summer and had no problem finding shade

For Obed check out Lilly Bluff, Y-12, or Little Clear.

At fosters, pretty much anything between climber access 1 and climber access 2. And even a little past access 2
