Looks like a good carabiner. $13.95 each, a little steep for my wallet.

These have been available for a while haven't they? I've had them for awhile at least.

They are basically a phantom with a clean nose, which is exactly what I wanted. The only difference is that the hood for the clean nose widens the nose of the biner so it takes up more space on your gear loops.

a scant 4 grams less than the Alpha Trad but significantly harder to handle, this product is a rare miss from DMM

See I find them fine to handle, but I have small hands. Maybe it's a niche product, but for me it works well.
