I'm headed to Southern Utah early October. Looking for a climbing buddy. I lead 5.10 sport comfortably. Can follow some 11s. Never been trad climbing but have a full rack, eager to be educated by a guru. I've been to Moab (but never climbed) so I'm really looking to hit Zion. Hmu if you're interested!

How long to you plan on being in the area? I will be climbing in Kentucky until mid late oct, and then i would like to head west. I am no guru, i probably climb near your level. I do have a rack as well but very little experience in trad(5 days learning in the Adirondacks in august) i will be heading there solo so would be awesome to meet a buddy.

There isn't THAT much for you in Zion.... There is some, so not trying to disuade you.....

You will have much more success in Indian Creek! Learn how to crack climb in the worlds best crack climbing crag.

There are plenty of people there to go climb with. There are so many cracks to jam!

I'm a Zion local.... Trust me, there is nothing here but pain and suffering ;)

I'm not far from Zion. LOTS of sport in the St. George area if you want to swing through here.

Kyle, I'll be in Utah probably mid October and have plans to go to Red Rocks Nevada at the end of October. I'm meeting someone out there for about a week if you want to join.

Well if there's no climbing in Zion I may head to Saint George and Indian creek.

How far is Saint George from Zion?

St. George is about 45 minutes away

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
