Is NOAA the best place for an accurate Yosemite weather forecast or is there a better place to get something more accurate?

NOAA will be as good or better than any. Be sure to use a "point forecast" for more accurate info.

This is the one you want, el 4,036 ft, pretty much the Valley floor pinpointed to the base of Sentinel area:
forecast.weather.gov/MapCli…;lon=-119.5697021484375&site=hnx&smap=1&marine=0&unit=0&lg=en#.UzHI5q1dUl4

Couple with these:
nps.gov/yose/learn/photosmu…

ssd.noaa.gov/goes/west/nepa…

radar.weather.gov/Conus/ful…
