Ok, I'm taking off to visit family and go climbing in the south-west of France around Montpellier.Hérault area has dozens of cliffs, lots of Sport but also a lot of adventure climbs.I'm leading comfortably 5.8 trad, probably up to 5c over there (6a sport).I'm thinking of bringing/buying there:9.2mm x 70m rope10 draws5 alpine draws1 double runnercordeletteX4 #0.2 to #0.75C4 #1 to #3C3 #00 to #2DMM Offsets or Wallnuts? what's more useful?Tricams Black to Brown? What do you guys think? I'm weight/space limited for this trip. Thanks in advance!
If you're bringing Trad gear because you think you're going to lead Multi-pitch, be warned that rappeling off most French (and European) routes requires at least 50-meter rappels, so need two ropes for that.
