Hi!

We'll be in the US between July 18 and mid August. We were thinking of going to Glacier National Park in Montana first since the weather seems to be quite hot elsewhere during the first week of our stay.
Would you recommend some nice hikes there? We're thinking of 4-7 days hike, 10-15miles per day, a round trip (we'll drive so in the end we'd like to get to the same spot where the car is parked). We'd like to go backcountry camping. We don't have any permits yet. Is it a big deal to get them? If we don't get the permits, is it still possible to make one-day hikes? How do the camping places usually look like? Btw, is there some sport climbing around? We climb mostly 10s and 11s.

We'd appreciate your help!

Since most folks don't do a bunch of climbing in Glacier in the summer (or winter for that matter, maybe check a hiking website or post on summitpost.

Cheers!
