Hello- my name is Rachel; I'm traveling from the Portland, Oregon area and will be driving through Utah, New Mexico, and Texas over the next several days. I'm hoping to find some crags and fellow climbers to climb with along the way. I'll be coming down from I15 into Utah eventually making my way o Moab; then highway 491. But I am so open to journeying roundabout that route to get a climbing crag.

I've been climbing (bouldering, TR'ing, and leading) for about a year and a half and am completely addicted. Outdoors I'm comfortable leading 5.10s and projecting 5.11s and 5.12s. I have basic personal gear (harness, shoes, belay device, and a personal) but am still saving up for my own rope and rack of draws). I'd love to get to know some of the local crags and meet more awesome climbers if you're open to me joining. I assure you I'll give you a good belay, bring snacks, and lots of gratitude! :)

Thanks for considering!

What days will you be in Salt Lake? I work most days but try to get out climbing as much as I can.

Thank you so much for the replies and sorry for the delayed responses (spotty reception while on the road). I'm actually leaving SLC early tomorrow but will be back through here mid-September; I hope to get some climbing in here then.

Heidi, I'm headed to Gallup area in New Mexico tomorrow. I'll be galavanting/eploring New Mexico on the 11th but will need to head out by the 12th. :/

Thanks again for your responses!
