US 34 from Loveland to Estes Park also in construction-delay travel mode.

"July - October 2016

US 34 will be open to through traffic in both directions. However, between mile points 77 and 79 (just east of Drake), drivers might encounter short-duration lane closures. During rock-blasting work at mile point 78.4, traffic will be stopped for 20 to 30 minutes during the blast to maintain public safety.

There will be construction activity between mile points 77 and 81 seven days a week, and some of this work will require lane closures. People driving through this area should plan for flagging operations and up to 20-minute delays. Drivers are encouraged to look for signage, and check this website for daily updates on lane closures and travel impacts."

And 34 is going to be totally shutdown starting in October unless you have a resident pass that will get you through during a 2 hour window in the morning and another 2 hour window in the afternoon.

How is 36 for travel?

No road work on 36! IT will be the primary route for Estes Park once 34 is shut down in October. Just the usual slow RV's going uphill in the summer.

Cool, I was about to freak out if I couldn't climb in the park this winter.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
