High Sierra Conditions

Thinking of climbing Bear Creek Spire this weekend. Anyone been in the area recently and have an idea of the current snow conditions on the approach and route?

was up around mills/abbott last week. looked like dry hiking to long lake, then patchy to Treasure/Gem Lakes,then continuous snow up to BCS. The walk off looked to still have some snow still. NE ridge has snow, but N Ridge looked dry.

Thanks for the update. Have a wilderness permit for next week and was wondering how much snow was lingering.

Anyone been up to the hulk yet. How much snow on the approach?
