I’m looking for a partner to climb with somewhere/anywhere in the Pacific Northwest for his weekend (May 6-8). I’ll have a rack and everything with me except a rope. I would be arriving Friday night and would like to climb all day Saturday and most of the day on Sunday. I’ve been climbing for over four years, I’m easy to get along with, I am safety oriented and have good knowledge on self-rescue systems. I prefer trad and like to do good looking cracks and/or long moderates. I can lead up to mid 10s on trad and push into 11s on sport. I could potentially meet anywhere. I’ve been looking at heading up to Squamish or maybe do Trout Creek as my main preferences, but I could be persuaded to go elsewhere if the climbing is good. I haven’t climbed much up there so I’d appreciate your local knowledge! In exchange I can provide a very attentive belay, good company, and if you’re just getting into trad I’d be happy to help you learn in any way I can (if you’d like).
If you’d be interested in meeting up, let me know and we can figure out logistics! I’ve also contacted a few people that have posted here, trying to increase my chances of finding a partner, since I’m trying to lock down plans as soon as possible. Anyway, feel free to call/text me if you prefer. Happy sending!
