Hello! I am a first time Red Rocks visitor planning a stop through the area this Wednesday and wanted to ask for some local advice... How's the rock? We will only be bouldering this trip, but if it's rained I want to make sure we won't be damaging any of the rock.
Thanks!

Rained yesterday, I think it may rain on Wednesday and Thursday. Going to be damp out here for a bit.

As always, the gyms are in season, or you can check out Keyhole, Big Sandy, or Prison Gate if it's not raining. They aren't sandstone, so you can climb on them wet.

Charleston and Potosi will also be in season for sport climbing.

There is also Arrow canyon, which is limestone and can be climbed on when wet!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
