For anyone interested in adaptive recreation CU is doing an adaptive sports roundtable that will include faculty, staff, students, and community members. More information is included below.

Adaptive Sports & Film Screening
Tuesday, April 19, 3:30-5 pm, Recreation Center, room C-240
The short film, Gimp Monkeys, which follows the first three amputee climbers to ascend El Capitan, will be shown and then followed by a discussion facilitated by renowned climbers Craig Demartino (lead climber in Gimp Monkeys), Malcolm Daly, and Paradox Executive Director Mike Neustedter. Learn how these three help others with physical impairments to fully participate in action sports like rock climbing and snowboarding. Following the discussion there will be a demonstration of adaptive climbing techniques at the climbing wall.

This event is growing by the day so if your are interested in Adaptive Sports we have a great panel shaping up. We will be having several CU students, faculty, and staff with expertise in the adaptive sports world that will be in attendance in addition to Paradox, Malcolm Daly and Craig Demartino.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
