I'm looking for another competent climber at a similar level. I don't need to push my limits every time I get on rock, but I like a challenge every now and then.
I have crash pads, ropes, quick draws, Black Diamond cams #5 and smaller, DMM Alloy Offsets and Torque Nuts, and personal climbing gear. I've got all my own camping gear, including a small kitchen in the back of my Subaru.
I'm an engineer by profession (Don't worry, I have a personality and am not THAT socially awkward.), but am taking a sabbatical as long as I'm making good use of my time off from work.
Some places I'm already considering are Hueco Tanks, Mount Lemmon, Nosos, etc. I'm open to all suggestions!
Paying for camping sucks, but if there's a good scene, running water, and it's cheap I don't mind (Think Squamish, Horse Pens 40, Horseshoe Canyon Ranch). Camping in the cold when it's dark early sucks too. Depending on where we climb, I'd most likely look for a couch to surf on.
It's not always easy to find people to climb with, especially on weekdays this time of year, so this is worth a shot. Feel free to respond in this thread or message me privately.
