It rained really hard here in VT today. not shure what happened over there. typicaly climbs that are real waterfalls get hit very hard with a heavy rain where climbs that rely on a lower volume of water to form have a better chance of survival.
It won't be worth the walk for awhile. Most of the toproping areas are going to be out. Texaco looked trashed yesterday, champney will be spraying water and the floor will be sketchy (as will the flume), and as for the north end.. it's going to be close to 50 in the valley tomorrow. Warm and raining now. With Icefest clinics happening, your best bet is to wait until next weekend. Or drive to Quebec, looks like it snowed there and is expected to be cooler and overcast tomorrow.
The best ice lately has been around Standard Route and up on Willard. Penguin, Hard Rane, Dropline, Coffin, and Dracula have all been fantastic.
