I bought this used cam as part of a large used set a few years back, and I am updating my rack, and looking at this cam I can't quite figure out who even makes it. The tag is faded, but I saw what appears to be a batch number of 1100 and it is "made in Korea" Any ideas?

Looks like an old WC Friend knockoff. Trangos have thumb loops.

The lobes look a lot like the pre thumb loop Trango and the red ones were just a hair larger than a 1 camalot. I had a few 10+ years ago and they sucked. They were way more likely to get stuck than anything else I owned. The part that's weird to me though is that mine were all U stem. So maybe Trango did a single stem model too? Either way, it sucks. After a little while, you'll grow to hate that cam.

It looks like an old ABC cam to me.

Who knows, but it looks like a Lowe '' fan cam'' to me. They were produced for a while in the mid 90's. They were significantly heavier than others at the time. Edit: the C was likely CE

I updated with another picture, hope that helps nicelegs wrote: After a little while, you'll grow to hate that cam. Yeah, it's on its way out of my rack, the range on that thing is pretty small.

Early C.A.M.P. Air Cam? The forged thumb area looks similar to their more current air cams...
