To those interested in what was/is/could still be the premier climbing event in Arizona. The Phoenix Boulder Blast. Here is the email reply I recieved in reference to my post. As the person did not post publicly, he or she shall remain anonymous. I can say that the source was reliable. Regardless of the statement, I will keep my fingers crossed.

"As much as I wish I could start
the New Year with good news about the PBB, I cannot. I believe that
the PBB is finished. The RCC Mine is unwilling to support the Event in
the way needed to get it back off the ground."
