Smuggler's Notch Conditions April?

Anybody familiar with smugglers notch know what the conditions are typically like in the first half of April? What are the chances anything will be in?

Chances are slim that there will be any April ice . 

Apparently April starts this week.

Hidden Gully can be nice in early April; low angle, shady climbs can hang on for a long time. But as Nick notes, it looks a lot like April later this week; if low temps are going to be 39 F, there won't be much left in 6 weeks...

hidden can be terrifying in april...   I have done it a few times late season by getting there really early and literaly running up it but when things start getting too warm in the  in the upper ampetheater bad things can happen. its an alpine world up there. you certainly don't want to come down easy gully  with warm april sun up on three sheets etc   

There will be no ice at Smuggs come April. May I suggest the Whites.
