Hi everyone! I’m planning a trip to Canada (Squamish and sorroundings) and I would like to know which are the best routes to get in the mood of traffic climbing in there. I’ve been climbing for 12 years but I’m not to used to tras climb, so I’m open to any recommendations a tips.

Thanks a lot

Probably hit up smoke bluffs when you first arrive to get a feel of the rock - mostly single pitch trad, short approach, wide range of grades

Then work your way to the classic multis on the bigger walls. The top 100s should keep you busy for a while :)

For guide book I'd recommend the Squamish Select by Marc

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.

Trad Climbing
