Santa Catalina Closures as of July 15, 2020

While the road is open (August 1, 2020), apparently the forest is closed.

A call to the Santa Catalina Ranger District resulted in this message:

"There is essentially anywhere you would want to climb, in that area at the moment, is closed."

I am told (by second hand hearsay) that no parking is allowed anywhere along the Mount Lemmon Highway.

The Order referenced above states:  

"This Order will be effective on July 15, 2020 at 8:00 pm, and shall remain in effect until November 1, 2020 or until rescinded, whichever is earlier."
