Red Rock Weather

How is everyone feeling about the weather in Red Rock currently? It just rained pretty heavy yesterday (Dec 27th), and there is a lot of snow. When is reasonable to climb in the canyon again?

According to the other thread on the same subject, after New Year’s Day. 

Can I mix climb in Red Rocks?

There are chances of rain up until about the 4th of Jan according to Bing weather.
With all the rain and snow in the RR area it wouldn't be wise to climb there until about the 8th or 9th of January.

But then of course, the idiotic climbers out there probably won't listen and climb anyway.

Most of Red Rock is closed to climbing for a while.  Some of the sport in/around Calico Hills/Basin might be dry by January 1-ish, if it doesn't rain/snow Dec 30.

The snow is going to leave the rock wet for quite awhile unfortunately. In areas that didn't get a lot of snow (usually 1-3rd pullout) , what Kevin said above is accurate.

There were quite a few groups out climbing in Calico today.
