Aid climbing and anchor lessons

I'm looking to take some lessons on building trad anchors and also would like to learn to aid climb.  I feel pretty confident in my anchor building but would like to get an outside perspective and some advice to be more sound.  Aid climbing I have no previous experience doing and would like to learn to do so.  Any recommendations on a guide to go over these things with me? Thanks for the advice.

The mountaineers books are a great source to get started.

Thanks all.  Any recommendations for a local guide?

This is like Jesus offering to give you barefoot water skiing lessons, you'd be silly to pass it up!

+1 on calling Jonathan Vickers. He's local and would be a great resource. It'll save you a ton of effort to jump in with him.

I believe this individual would be a competent mentor for the craft.  Looks like he has all the correct equipment.
Write back I'll give you his number.
