Thinking about bringing my two year old up the Nose to break the record.

Does it still count if she's strapped to dad in an ergobaby omni 360? Also, what are the best ledges for diaper changes on the route? Will a 2:1 haul system be sufficient to haul a baby? Before you get all up in arms, she'll be in the haul bag obviously.

Haul bag with a ventilation hole cutout I presume!!

Yep, it just doesn't stop....what's next; "didn't bring my newborn up a trad route but made one on that ledge up there. We now hold the FKT of conception on The Nose"

Surely someone has omeone has been conceived there, so how you gonna break that record?

Seguramente alguien ha concebido a alguien allí, entonces, ¿cómo vas a romper ese récord?

You might consider 3:1 haul. Will make it easier to haul the pajamas and coloring books and crap filled diapers. Gonna need plenty of juice and stuff for snack time. Favorite blanket for nap time. Definitely a 3:1 scenario.

Next someone should do a water birth on a bivy ledge!

PJ's, coloring books, blankey, juice, & snacks, all good, but what are you going to bring for the kid?

Bring a puppy too. You know, so there's something in it for the kid.

Wait you mean my child isn't just an object for me to use to gain a laughably ineffectual amount of fame within a small community of dirtbags who even care about what happens on El Cap, which also happens to be the exact same group of people who would scorn me for doing such a thing?

And if your child gets lost or left behind on route would it be considered booty?

Did you catch that climber's name in the story's text?

Too late, my son already belayed me up the route in September. new record is 11 months. Have another kid ... that one is worthless now.

He also had his first Aid Ascent at Negative 5 months when my wife carried him up the route in her womb, so maybe that was the record?

I had dried semen in my underwear when I climbed the nose.

Would a miscarriage while climbing count? What about while jugging?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
