Recent Fred Beckey Sighting

• Tahoe City a few weeks ago. Had to look twice to be sure one way or the other...

That is the farmer from Newcastle that sells peaches at the market. He is a character. But Fred Beckey died two years ago.

Hahahaha! Ryan, of course it is. He just looks like Fred. I asked him if he’d ever heard of Fred Beckey and he hadn’t. A woman behind me chimed in, “He DOES look like Fred Beckey .”  His peaches are past their prime, BTW. 

At some point, we're all Fred Beckey.
