Where is the climbing community?

Where is the climbing community? They are making me wait on line for routes I named!

A lot of people are saying that I have no ticks or profile pic or whatever, this is not the account I use to contact people. I have another account that I use to look at routes and tick stuff and contact people that is very public and very real. I just decided to stay anonymous to post this considering that the toxic side of the MP community has a tendency to remember very small things and hold them against people, so I decided to post without using my real account so I wouldn't have to constantly defend myself.

Thanks to everyone who gave me real responses, and I know a lot of people think this is coming across as either a troll or whiny, but I am legitimately asking, but surprisingly I got my answer from this thread. The internet seems to either be very helpful or very toxic, and MP is definitely both of those things. Pretty much I'll just figure it out in the real world in my gym or at bouldering spots because as helpful Mountain Project is for routes, I cant really depend on internet randos for my climbing partners, so thats just my mistake I guess.

The "internet" is just people. PEOPLE can be helpful or toxic (hate that word) so chances are, the people you'll run into in RL are going to fall into one of these categories if those are your parameters. 

Brena stated this forum is full of idiots, despite the fact some of the routes she likely climbs were put up by members of this forum. likely the guidebook she uses was written by a forum user. likely the trails she walks are maintained by forum users. likely the gym she goes to is staffed by forum users.

Now, I suppose those things don't necessarily make you an intellectual, but my point would be to discredit and disrespect an entire community might make it reasonably difficult to be accepted by it.

And again, yes, there are some great people on this site but this forum is also full of idiots.

i guess they would be personal views if it didn't involve children and the potential to transmit previously eradicated life threatening diseases to other children who legitimately can't use the vaccines.

for real tho.  op, if you were to post up where you live and what kind of stuff you like to climb you'd probably get a handful of people reaching out.  you tend to receive what you put out there, both in life and in internet culture....  

I was going to say just learn to channel your loneliness into angst and go solo stuff... But whoa... We got vaccines popping off in here! I love how anti vaxxers all say its #personalchoice as they bring deadly diseases into herd immunity... Science is gone and no one remembered to cry.
