Would you recommend that for winter backpacking? Looks like a great R value but slightly ion the heavy side.

I used a Downmat UL on a polar trip and it was fantastic.

It’s by far the comfiest and warmest pad I’ve ever used but is on the large and heavy side. If you don’t mind the size it’s be awesome. Its larger than a yoga mat rolled up

Shoot,  really weird that Jon's message posted before mine.  My message was the only one following yours for at least 30 minutes.  Then Jon's message posted as if it were before mine...  Really weird.  Something funky going on with the timestamps.
