Wtf people, get yer priorities straight....on that note what's priority on yer van?!?!

My #vanstrife priorities were lights, bed, insulation...and yeah, a year later and not much else has gone up except some wall art (el cap free poster and some star shot prints)

Please tell me more about your situation. It sounds as if you are upset?

"Real" dirt bagging is about money management. I'm in pain when I see the faux dirtbagger throw it all away

How do you know what "real" dirtbagging is?

I saw it on TV.

believing anything you see on TV is almost being as gullible as believing anything that you read on the internet. And anyone can post anything they like on the internet and you of all people know that.

Sometimes just driving around looking like a climber is good enough. Buy more gear and the climbing will follow right?

You can't dirtbag it until you spend at least 45 K on da van.

Right now your world is half hallucination.

If you're not careful, it will become total hallucination.

You'll have to live in a very different world.

Dude: this is the American Dream...to have so much shit that you have no freedom left.

My wife wanted a cabin, now I have two homes to take care of/spend money on.

The cabin is on a lake, so we had to get a boat, and a boat lift so it doesn't sit in the water all the time. And a dock to get out to the boat lift. And another mower to cut the grass, and tools, cuz I forget mine at the other house.

When i want to climb, my wife complains about me not going to the cabin...

Just shoot me now.

The real kicker is I have a torn labrum in my shoulder and can't even water ski any more.

We bough t a Sport-fish boat so at least I can go fishing.

Buck- you’re deep in the std MN conundrum.
Trying to extricate yourself from boats and “up north” duties so you can climb.  Let me know if you find a solution....

Edit: just saw your more recent post.  Shoot.  Was gonna ask if you wanted to buy a Malibu slalom boat...

Why didn't you buy a cabin in an area with climbing?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
