Looking for a partner for some rock routes in the north and south Alps this summer (July, August and September). Ideally would like to spend a week or two climbing as much as possible. I'm based out of Kyoto. Get in touch and we can discuss objectives but I'm looking at getting on Yarigatake West Arete, Kitadake and Tsurugidake. I have a trad rack but just need a psyched partner and a rope!

I'm visiting Japan in May, if that's any help. Though don't know how much gear I can bring or how many days I'd be able to climb, definitely wouldn't mind getting on some rock for a day or two. I'll be in Kyoto at least a couple days, itinerary is still up in the air.

I’ll be in Korea for the next year and was already planning some backcountry ski trips to Japan; maybe I can eek in a fall-time climbing trip too.  I have a rope and another rack as well.  I know nothing about Japan’s rock climbing, but I’m down for anything under 5.11 as a follower.

I'll be climbing in Okinawa the 15th to 19th of May if you need a second and make it down there. I'll have my full sports kit. Send me a message if so.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
