Heard they busted a bunch of folks on skid row two nights ago. There were still 30+ vans there last night!

Yes, it's an eyesore... But after I paused and gave it some thought, I decided I'd rather these dirtbags camp there on the side of the highway than go out and ruin the more wild, scenic spots that only require a little more effort.

Although better still would be utilizing the campground or Walmart parking lots.

People are camping/parking all over around late night parking lot are the dirt roads around Black Velvet, as well as all over on cottonwood pass road by Potosi. People need to just drive another 10 minutes to Lovell where free camping is legal.

I named it "Skid Row".

Last spring i was stealthly asleep on the ground behind a van, and at 3am, some vatos drove by unloading their pistols. Twas quite exciting.

My new "Skid Row" K.P:s campsites for Vanners, submariners, & even Prisoners (Sprinter folk.) :-)

But in reality, Bishop, RR and a ton of other places are swarmed with people who feelThat every street, side of highway, parking lot is theirs. I have lived in my car since before it was a “thing” and don’t get how you can have a rug/chairs/etc sitting in a spot that isn’t a legit camp site and feel like people are in the wrong for approaching you.

"Kentucky Pete's campsites fur Vanners, R-Vanners, Submariner's, & YES even Prisoners. (Most Sprinter folks, exception: Freightliner's.) :)
