I'll be there this weekend too with a big crew, stop by watchman site E5 at night and I can give you some more advice on stuff to do although I know much more about the canyoneering and scrambling than the climbing in Zion.

"Might send you a pm later this week."

I am heading out there from Atlanta starting next Friday if you want to hang out. We will be in the Watchman campground.

For the record, we had to climb shaded routes from last Saturday-Tuesday because it was too warm in the sun. Forecasted highs were 68-72 and lows were 46-50. The sun definitely added 20 degrees of temperature to the actual highs.

Headache is one of my favorites. I've done the first two pitches a dozen times and the 3rd pitch only twice, but EVERY TIME i've climbed that route...I've gotten a headache, no joke.

Mellow outing, except for cowboy ridge (damn that was a long day):

Led by sheep, crazy quilt

Cowboy ridge

Baby wipe, Ghetto booty, suppository, better safe than sorry.

I loved the rock quality. I felt like I could climb harder grades than here in the east.  Wasn't stoked that led by sheep was a sport climb. Felt easier than Jtree and Gunks. But I didn't get on much so

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
