I'm from socal and will be in Seattle/Kent for a few months for work/training..any close crags?

If its now, you have some dry (overhanging) routes at random crags. You want to make the drive East this time of year, but the wind at Vantage can make it a long day..

Exit 32 is probably your safest bet.

Some of my best days at Index have been high pressure windows mid-winter. Keep an eye out for those.

Unless someone knows something I don't....cragging in the Seattle area is a minimum 2.5 hour time investment just for round trip driving and approach. Yes it's occasionally awesome in the winter at Index. Bring your skis! Good luck and God bless!
