Need Advice for my First Finger Injury. Partial Tare in A3 Pulley.

Just recently hurt my right ring finger and believe it is a partial tare in my A3 pulley. Curious if anyone else who has had this injury can offer healing time and tips to getting me back to climbing as soon as possible. Right now I can close my fist with minimal discomfort but when squeezing something there is a slight pain. (like pumping gas) Is it ok to stretch it even if there is slight discomfort or should I wait until there is no pain at all? Any advice would be great. Heading to Rocklands, South Africa in 6 weeks and am hoping to be back to climbing by then. Thanks, Troy

Ask a sports medicine doctor. Preferably one who climbs (although that's rare).

Rocklands is the shiz! Have fun there.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
