La Sal loop?

Anyone know if the road is finished from Castle Valley up to Mill Creek? Last year they had a torn up and closed

Good question. I am going up there next week.There is no mention of it on the road closures section, although they do mention that there will be delays on one section, due to road work. Send them a message. They are pretty responsive on the Manti La Sal National Forest FB page. They are already opening the campgrounds this year. 

Yup its open. 

That's such a beautiful drive.

It was 1 lane yesterday and took an hour or so for us to get from Castle Valley to the top. 

They must a took th holiday wknd off. Looks almost done. Needs a little more black top and that’s it. The south side needs a makeover, pot holes!
