FS: Brand New 70M Black Diamond 9.2mm Rope

Hear ye Hear ye,

I must declare with a heavy heart -and pocket- the quest of finding Ted's rope a new home concluded.  

Briggs brought the story full circle.  I admire the poetry.  Briggs was the first settler upon this thread "obliged to give advice" declaring the optimistic price tag of 140 doubloons outlandish and noncompetitive.  A truly unlikely hero.  

Hopefully, however, the saga is just beginning.  I sincerely yearn that all prospective owners have enjoyed this thread as much as I did and I am excited to see the heights this rope may reach.

I have a brand new 70M Black Diamond 9.2mm Rope.  The rope has never been used and is in the original packaging.  

Manufacture date is 2018 and the rope was purchased April 2018.  I have the original purchase receipt.  

Asking Price is $140 + shipping or local to Jacksonville, FL

Huh.  I’ll give you a bump but double down with Briggs.  I bought this rope for 120 shipped new from backcountry a month ago.  It’s a great rope.  Good luck getting your asking price.

I'd say that even at $100 you'd probably get some nibbles, but no one is going to buy it at the current asking price.

You sure that manufacture date is 2018? BD isn’t producing that rope this year to the best of my knowledge. Their newly updated 9.4 for this season is lighter and more durable all while being on sale on backcountry for $149.96 free shipping.

I think we should name it the ‘Spam Bump’. 

This used to be meat, now no one wants to touch it but they keep trying to sell it...... in the case of actual SPAM they will be giving it away soon, hopefully that is not the same fate for your rope!
