Just noticed a few crags on the north side of Mount Potosi (Comedy Crags, ~30 routes) have been removed. Any particular reason? Is there still access to these climbs?

At one time there was some “drama” and (drama maybe even be a stretch TBH) about the the trail being overly marked with orange and purple paint for the approach to that area to one of the comedy crags (Comedy Central iirc?) that was a while ago though and it was still up after that.

New limestone book is supposedly coming out in the near future maybe it was taken down for book exclusivity to help support local guide books ? (Total speculation ... definitly happens though)

My experience, is that one you put up routes on MP, they are there for good.

The comedy region will definitely be in the next guide, but that is not the cause of the removal. Currently there aren’t any actual access issues, but there are some extremely unlikely, but potential issues that the we are addressing with the BLM. Climbing up there is totall kosher and everyone is a ok to climb there. thank you
