Danland conditions? Seki climbing

Wondering if Danland is wet, or snowy? I climbed there for a few days last year and enjoyed it, (we saw Dan every day). I’m curious if the 4,000ft elevation makes it accessible for climbing later this week.

Should be good to go, although I bet some cracks and routes are seeping.

Snow line in the area is just above 6000’ and it’s melting fast. Patchy snow around the Giant Forest, though NPS is still requiring chains at times, if you decide to drive up in the Park.

I was climbing at Hospital Rock just a few days ago, staring at the South Face of Moro, even all that stuff looked good. Yet, the Moro Rock road is closed so an extra couple mile hike to be added for that.

Supposed to be hot and sunny after tomorrow.

There’s almost always something dry at danland. I’ve been going all winter. It’s usually good a day or two after a storm.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
