No. However, you should phone the Jemez ranger district of the forest service and express your interest in the road being opened. (575) 829-3535 |

I called on Friday. The ranger I spoke to said the road wouldn't be open until April 15th. I'm hopeful that if climbers mount a concerted effort and keep calling the FS may respond by opening the road earlier, depending on snow conditions. |

It doesn't help that it's snowing in the Jemez currently :-/ But seriously, this will burn off in less than a day of normal sunshine in March. Leaving the road closed until mid-April is pretty absurd. |
