Climbing locations for when the Valley is too cold?

I had plans to meet a friend in the Valley next weekend, but it looks like the lows will be around 10 degrees, which would make camping pretty miserable.  Are there any good locations to do some climbing that might have warmer temps?  J-Tree and Tahquitz are probably too far of a drive.  I was thinking Sugarloaf or Bishop.

How would Bishop be closer than J-tree when the Sierra Highways are closed? Assuming you are in Berkeley like your profile says.

Table mountain is pretty fun

Google maps is putting it at an extra hour for Joshua Tree.  Going around Tahoe can be quick when there isn't a conga line going to the resorts.

You're probably right given that there's little to no snow in Tahoe. Usually in winter it'd suck.

Check out the Kern River climbing, upstream from Kernville.

Kern Slabs, New Direction and more....

All sorts of free camping to boot

And there’s a place named DanLand by Three Rivers , that has a Valley feel ... or check out Toll House by Fresno

We are so lucky to live in California- enjoy the winter climbing.

Table mountain grotto (columnar basalt) and gold wall have nice climbing, also marble bouldering in near by Columbia is nice.

Arch Rock and Cookie Cliff.

If the sun is out they aren't too cold.

Thanks for the tips everyone.  Seems like a long shot maybe, but are the Needles in?

Its been dry but cold...they are what, 6000' so colder than the south facing stuff in the Valley.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
